We have talked to several people who ultimately recommended our first Moroccan of the month: "Larbi Semsem"

Larbi Semsem was born in Casablanca on May 25, 1958. He is married to zakia semsem, and father of two: Sara (10 years) and Yassin (2 months). He currently lives in Florida where he owns and operates a Moroccan restaurant ("Maingate Express, 5407 West 192 highway, Kissimmee.) Larbi has as eclectic a background as they come. He holds a degree in Economics from Casablanca, an English Degree from Rabat, and a comparative literature degree from Tours, France.

Larbi taught French in Bornemouth, England before he came to the states, where his entrepreneurial spirit flourished. He worked for the Walt Disney world company, tried the hospitality business and the real estate business, finally settling on the restaurant business. Larby is known for his involvement in the Moroccan community, lending a helping hand to his fellow Moroccans in whatever capacity he has. "Someone commented that it was very difficult to find Larbi in a bad mood".Larbi enjoys Fishing, Basketball, reading, home gardening, and most of all, spending time with his children.
