Prince Moulay Rachid receives IMF Managing Director 
Rabat, feb.28- Prince Moulay Rachid (younger brother of HM King Mohammed
VI) received, here Monday, visiting managing director of the International
Monetary Fund (IMF)Rodrigo de Rato.

The audience was also attended by Minister of Finance and Privatisation,
fathallah Oulalou, and the delegation accompanying de Rato.

The IMF managing director arrived Monday in the north African country for
discussions on recent economic developments and issues confronting the
regional and global economy, and to listen to the Moroccan authorities
views on the role of the IMF in this context.

This is the first visit of de Rato to the Maghreb region since assuming
office in June 2004.
