 My name is Sofia Elfarissi, 28 and work as an Enrollment Counselor for Saint Leo University in Tampa, Fl I have been in the US since 2005 after completing my first year university at ESIG in Casablanca where I also obtained my French High School diploma from Universite la Sorbonne Nouvelle Paris 3, worked in different fields such as banking (Bank of America: was top seller in Central NJ during my first quarter), worked as a Flight Attendant for Delta Airlines for almost two years (was nominated within 6 months in Khaleej Times magazine as the model flight attendant in the gulf, see article below that was written about me http://www.khaleejtimes.com/ then worked for Coca Cola Refreshments in the Human Resources department (Brandon, FL) handling HR inquiries and processing data for over 60.000 employees both in the US and Canada (French speaking) After that I moved to San Diego where I worked as a Program Director for Jenny Craig also handling Canadian French Speakers with their weight loss programs and nutrition needs then I decided to move back to Florida and finally was able to work for a respectable university assisting Undergrad new students with their enrollment and admission. I also pursue my B.A. in International Business which I am supposed to finish in the next 6 months, at the same time working on a certification as an interior Decorator to be able to open up my business in the future. I will also do an MBA right after my B.A. which I am planning on completing by March of 2014. As you should know, life has been very challenging between work and school especially that I am a female and always been living alone in this country, but I am doing my best everyday to manage to be able to reach my goals according to my plans. I am every day PROUD to be Moroccan and would like to be an example one day. | ||
