I would appreciate any tips about moving to Texas (from Los Angeles). I'm considering moving my family to Austin, San Antonio or Dallas in that order . I'm a (Computer/Information Technology) Information Security Engineer and would be working remotely from home (Inshallah). Of course, as a backup plan, city needs to offer good employment alternatives in case i get laid off. How do you compare these cities in terms of crime, affordability of single family homes, education, weather, lifestyle and IT jobs? Are there any other cities you would recommend for a young family?
